#1 Wish you were here…

I spend a lot of time looking at clothes. I’m the kind of magpie who adds everything they like to the cart before remembering that the rent’s due and there’s no food in the house! Unfortunately for me, this means I’m reduced to being a window shopper 99% of the time!

That being said, here’s this months wish-list…

Wishlist-1

(1) Hell Bunny Parker Trousers
Jeans are where my comfort zone starts and ends, but these trousers caught my eye. The pattern is a small houndstooth and the length is cropped. I’m thinking these with a wide waist belt and black boat neck would look great!

(2) Lady Luck Tiki Bamboo Bangles
I’m not big on jewellery but I really love these. Tiki and Hawaiian are my favourite styles from the 40’s because they can be feminine without being super girly. These bangles would go great with a Hawaiian shirt or summery dress.

(3) Dancing Days (by Banned) Addicted Sweater in Burgundy
I’ve got a red and white stripe version of this which I absolutely love so I know this will be a winner! It has 3/4 length sleeves with a cut-out and teeny tiny bow that matches the top colour. There are a dozen or so colour and pattern variants of this one so I’m sure I’ll be adding more in the future!

(4) Economy Design Blouse Pattern – B34
While I’m no seamstress, I’m really starting to get into clothes making. The idea that I can make something from a vintage pattern in any fabric, print or colour I want really appeals to me! I have a couple of patterns saved in my stash already but these are more modern takes on vintage clothing, I’d really like to add some true vintage patterns to the mix and see what my limited skill set can do! Practise makes perfect…

(5) Bésame Cosmetics Mascara Cake
Now this one I’ve seen everywhere! I’m so intrigued by this product and how multipurpose it is (mascara, eyeliner, eyebrows etc). My nan used to use a cake mascara when she was younger so it’d be cool to try something that was the norm back in the day. Any of you guys and gals tried this one? I’d love to hear your thoughts!
